PAQUET'S RESTORATIONS
GARY PAQUET

My life working with wood started in the late nineties. Prior to that I was self employed in the tool and die business designing injection and die cast tooling. The industry changed with world globalization and like many businesses at that time my clients had to close their doors and eventually I too had the same fate. I always liked working with wood, but never thought of it as a full time business. However some people came into my life that helped Paquet's Restorations begin to grow. Their names were Kim and David, Maryjane and Ron, and Monica and Tim. Cannot thank them enough for having the confidence in me to work on their projects. My huge break came in 2005. I was running a very tiny add in North Shore Magazine, a publication serving the Chicago area. For almost a full year I never received a response until late in 2005. I can thank Interiors ii and later to become Irongate Interiors of Barrington, Illinois as the spark that got Paquet's Restorations into many beautiful homes in the Barrington and surrounding area. A big thank you to Lee Youngstrom, Susan Reese and Molly Milligan for their guidance and their confidence in me. And let me thank Houzz.com for allowing me to use their website to publicize my work that has led to many new clients in the Chicago area. And finally to all the clients I have worked with on their projects, Thank you for your patience and support.
My little fiends below, Coquette Mercedes(black), Bronte Bardot(pink) and Matisse Pierre look pretty comfortable. We want that feeling for you after we have completed a project for your home. Relax and enjoy your new surroundings
